PRINX TIRES LIMITED PASSENGER CAR AND LIGHT TRUCK WARRANTY

  • Tires branded or marked “Non-adjustable (N/A)”, or “Blemished (Blem)”, or previously adjusted.
  • Irregular wear or tire damage due to:
  • Road Hazards (including punctures, cuts, snags, impact breaks, etc.) after the first 2/32nds
  • Wreck, collision, fire, or vandalism.
  • Improper inflation, overloading, misapplication, misuse, negligence, high-speed tire spinning, chain damage, improper mounting or demounting.
  • Mechanical condition of the vehicle, including misalignment, wheel imbalance, faulty shocks or brakes.
  • Ride disturbance after the first 1/32nd (0.8mm) of tread depth or due to damaged wheels. “Ride disturbance” means shakes and bounces of vehicle caused by unbalanced tire-rim-assembly, out of round tires, etc., which bring unpleasant feelings or experience to drivers or passengers. Ride disturbance claims will also not be accepted on 3 or more tires from the same vehicle.
  • Cost of Mounting and Balancing.
  • Ozone or weather cracking on tires over four (4) years from the date of manufacture.
  • Alteration of the tire or addition of alien material or transfer from one vehicle to another.
  • Loss of time or use inconvenience, or any incidental or consequential damages.
  • Tires used in commercial service unless denoted for such use as by the manufacturer.
  • Tires used in racing or competitive related events.
  • Tires used outside the United States and/or Canada.
  • Tires purchased from unauthorized dealers.

When a PRINX brand Passenger Car or Light Truck Tire has delivered its full original tread life down to 2/32nds (1.6mm) remaining at any given spot in the tread area, or five (5) years from the new tire purchase date or seven (7) years from the date of original tire manufacture, whichever comes first. For ST Trailer tires warranty ends after the tire has delivered its full original tread life down to 2/32nds (1.6mm) remaining at any given spot in the tread area, or three (3) years from tire purchase date or five (5) years from the date of manufacturer, whichever comes first.

Failure to rotate tires every 5000 miles or according to the vehicle manufacturers instructions voids the treadwear warranty. If tires on a vehicle are different sizes for the front and rear, thus preventing proper rotation, then the mileage warranty will be for half of the warranties stated. Tires used in commercial service have no mileage warranty

In order to be eligible for PRINX Limited Warranty service, the owner must:

  1. Present the tire to an authorized PRINX dealer; and
  2. Present proof of purchase (if applicable) to the dealer.
  3. Complete and sign a PRINX New Tire Warranty Claim Form, which is available at any authorized dealer; and
  4. Pay the amount due on a new tire, less the amount of credit, including taxes, mounting and balancing charges or cost of other services ordered.

This warranty or any warranty stated or referred to herein, is exclusive and in lieu of any other warranty regarding the quality of PRINX brand tires, whether expressed or implied, and remedies for breach thereof shall be limited to those specifically provided herein. To the extent permitted by law, PRINX Chengshan Tire Co. ltd cannot be held responsible for incidental and consequential damages, loss of time, loss of vehicle use, or inconvenience. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This limited warranty applies only to consumers actually purchasing and using the tire in the United States and Canada. Obligations under this policy may not be enlarged or altered by anyone. In Accordance with Federal Law, this limited warranty has been designated as a “Limited Warranty.” Nothing in this limited warranty is intended to be a representation that tire failures cannot occur.

This Limited Warranty is effective as of January 1, 2025 and replaces any previous limited warranties. Conditions and coverage are subject to change at any time without prior notice.
